These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the mobile application Credit Score Tracker & Builder (the "App"), including all features, content, simulations, scores, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Overview and Purpose of the App

Credit Score Tracker & Builder is an informational and educational application designed to help users assess their potential credit standing through self-reported questionnaires and simulated scenarios. The App does not provide loans, credit products, financial advice, or official credit reports.

All scores, ratings, and insights displayed in the App are estimates generated by internal algorithms and are provided solely for general informational purposes.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
  • You will use the App only for lawful purposes

3. No Financial, Credit, or Legal Advice

The App does not constitute and should not be considered:

  • Financial advice
  • Credit counseling
  • Legal advice
  • An official credit score or report

You acknowledge that decisions based on information provided by the App are made at your own discretion and risk.

4. Credit Scores, Ratings, and Simulations

The App provides:

  • A questionnaire-based score reflecting self-reported credit-related information
  • Optional simulations that generate additional estimated scores
  • A combined rating based on completed features

If simulations are not completed, displayed ratings may be limited. All results:

  • Are subjective estimates
  • May not reflect real-world creditworthiness
  • May change based on user input or algorithm updates

5. User Responsibilities

You agree that:

  • All information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge
  • You will not misuse, manipulate, or attempt to reverse-engineer the App
  • You will not use the App for fraudulent or deceptive purposes

You are solely responsible for your use of the App and any consequences arising from it.

6. Advertising and Monetization

The App is monetized through advertising. As a result:

  • Ads may be displayed within the App
  • Third-party advertisers may provide content
  • Advertising relevance may be based on general usage data

Credit Score Tracker & Builder does not endorse any advertised products or services and is not responsible for third-party offerings.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

The App may include links to third-party websites, services, or content. Credit Score Tracker & Builder does not control and is not responsible for:

  • Third-party content or availability
  • Accuracy or legality of third-party offerings
  • Any damages arising from third-party interactions

Your interactions with third parties are governed by their own terms and policies.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, designs, algorithms, trademarks, and materials within the App are owned by or licensed to Credit Score Tracker & Builder and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or exploit any part of the App without prior written permission.

9. License Grant

Credit Score Tracker & Builder grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

10. Suspension and Termination

Credit Score Tracker & Builder reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Misuse the App
  • Engage in unlawful or harmful behavior

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS.

Credit Score Tracker & Builder DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • MERCHANTABILITY
  • FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
  • ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF RESULTS

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Credit Score Tracker & Builder SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES RESULTING FROM:

  • RELIANCE ON SCORES OR SIMULATIONS
  • FINANCIAL OR CREDIT DECISIONS
  • THIRD-PARTY ADVERTISEMENTS OR SERVICES

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Credit Score Tracker & Builder from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the App
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your infringement of any rights of a third party

14. Changes to the Services or Terms

Credit Score Tracker & Builder may modify or discontinue the App or update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Credit Score Tracker & Builder regarding the use of the App.
